Bro ur going waaay to fast . i know you probly do this a gazillion times a day , but some off us are doing this for the first time . i am now really irritated from tring to get the tire onto the rim for an hour . plus my rim is now pretty scratched up !! you may have the “trick” down but ive watched the vid several times and dont seem to be able to figure it out ..

  6. bobkoch73 says:

Try a Desert Tire with Stiff sidewalls along with two rim locks. I haven’t had a rear with one rim lock in 30 years.

  7. stevektm125 says:

That tire looks like a rubber band compared to the 12″ I’m trying to install on a pitbike. His tire is floppy and about 10% bigger compared to the rim in relative terms.

omg that bead buddy would help sooooooo much

  9. kyle21823 says:

i wish i saw this video sooner.. the last time i changed a tire it took me 4 hours and the tube got 3 holes in it. yeah.

  11. lebo8u says:

i hateee how he fucking clears his throat every 2 seconds far out

  12. tpyro11 says:

great instruction i used it to change my hard tires to my soft tires with ice screws, thanks for posting this vid its great

  13. rkortes says:

Wow…. I used this video to repair a flat on my DRZ400S last night…… priceless help! Thanks!!

  14. itsStruth says:

0r, if I’m strurggling I’m using a much more solid wall 120+(4″) enduro or road/trail tyre. That tyre looks like putty compared to the one I’ve just put on.

  15. MaLoBoI216 says:

yeah no doubt i just put a new tire and tube on my 250 with 2 rim locks and it sucked !!

  16. andrewg367 says:

Show me an 18 inch rim with two rim locks. Much harder.

  17. Fogal181315 says:

    very helpful

  18. goddamn638 says:

Very annoying, please clear throat in future videos. BTW, will that lube work for my hemoroids…

  19. easternbiker9102 says:

well that looks a lot easier than what i was doing. now i just need to wait for my tire and tube to come in through motosport. =D

  20. adinocr7 says:

After destroying two tubes and watching the crap videos on this site I finally came across this one with Doug Schopinsky. Man this guy is right on the money. I did my final attempt last night and the new tube install was a piece of cake. The little tricks he shows in the video are what made it next to effortless.

If you follow this guys instructions to the “T” you’ll have no problem.

Great video and now I have no worries if I ever have to change out a tube or tire.

  21. ipathbomb92 says:

Stuffing the tube back in the tire has been probably the most frustrating thing I have ever done in my life, my tires were very narrow on the insides… ugh….

  22. nitrojoe9 says:

thank you soooo much for posting this video!!!! it helped so much in installing my rear drz 400 tire. one thing you could have mensioned is that when making the bead of the tire seal against the rim its important to have lube on the bead that way it easily slides and seals in place.

  23. andrewsvids says:

haha 3:40 flip it over and lube it on the bottom side

  24. CrowleyNL says:

and when your done doing that (looks way to easy) put a lot of air in it so the tire will stretch on the right way! tighten up the rimrock and put the right amount of air in it
    yer good to go :)

  25. rando76x says:

hahaha you forgot ” to flip it over and re lube the bottom side” bahahaa nice catch
